Walter E. Smithe Furniture Projects 

Walter E. Smithe Furniture is a retailer of high quality custom furniture and interior design services.  Each facility has a centrally located design center, with a large skylight overhead.  The natural light from the skylight allows customers to select furniture coverings and materials in natural light. The stores have an open floor plan, with wood floors and decorative detailing throughout.   The centrally located, naturally lit atrium also serves to orient customers within the store, providing a reference point for the location of furniture they have already seen in other areas of the store.  Services have been provided for both new stores and stores in existing buildings that were completely demolished and built-out with new interiors.
