Bartolomeo's (now Giordano's) is a 12,000 SF custom
restaurant designed for gourmet Italian dishes as well as pizza.
The Client requested a rustic and unique interior to draw patrons. The
building has multiple levels for dining as well as a sunken pit waiting
area. The interior finishes are common brick with wood flooring
and tile. The building has three (12' H) main laminated trusses that support
the roof as well as an upper level dining area. This upper level
dining was laid out so the patrons walked between the diagonal structural
members of the trusses to their tables. The building corners have
two-story glass with two-story spaces at the corners, including a two-story
center section to bring light into the interior spaces |
